Hard work doesn't pay off all the time,
that's why I'm disappointed.
Or perhaps I had expectations which are just too high.

You're right, it might not be as bad as I thought it would be.

Nothing is going to change though.
I'm just going to work even harder for the next round,
and if the cycle was to repeat, I can't change anything after.
