Expectations, I didn't reach some of it.
Well, I prefer not to be too happy about my results, despite doing okay. Certain subjects I scored met my targets for O-Levels, but it still was not secure enough to keep the grades. The most disappointing results I had received was my Social Studies, and my English. Social Studies - I scored a miserable twenty, which pulled my humanities grade down to a C6 which I aimed for at least a B4. English, still stagnant within the C grades, hardly improved. I've got to improve my expression and language, which I've been trying for quite some time.
I've too managed to get my study leave, but I'm not at the least elated about it because of the disappointment of some of my results. I don't understand why so many pupils want the study leave for, it doesn't have much difference do it? One either have to study at home, or to study in school and of course there are advantages and disadvantages to both. So, even if one is to get the study leave or not, there is nothing disappointing or happy about.
Well, I also think that studying all the way is not the right way out to get a good grade because we should balance our 'work-life' and 'play-life'. But definitely, I can't be playing more than I work. I wouldn't say that I'm being complacent in this way, because I just feel that working all the way is to exhausting for us.
I think I shall stop continuing my short 'essay', and I hope all of my friends and I will be able to score well for our major examinations this month, and work hard towards their own goals.
