SINGAPORE 11:11 AM

Back from student leaders camp. It was really tiring. Having bodyaches now?

First day, on our departure to Batam, we checked in too early and had to wait for another 20minutes before checking in again. Most of us did homework while waiting. Managed to finish one Chemistry worksheet. We checked in, and some of us sat at the bottom deck of the jetty. Fell asleep for awhile and some were too engrossed in the war movie. We reached and took a Harris Bus to the resort and played Telematch. Got forfeited. Proceeded for lunch and checked in to the hotel to get ourselves changed for the visit to the orphanage. I stayed with Charleston, Xun Quan and Darrel. Our room somehow stink? Went to the orphanage, looked at them watching a cartoon and then starting giving gifts. We left shortly after a exchange-performance as the rain was coming. Went up the bus and it started to drizzle. Went back hotel to rest and examine the hotel. Had our dinner and went for bowling which was super fun. Slept after an hour or two?

Second day, woke up after Charleston wake us all up. Had breakfast and then went for raft-building and flying fox. We were split into two groups, and i went with Derrick Soo, the funny guy. He was last to do the flying fox, i was second last. Mr Goh was up there with us and kept joking with Derrick, as Derrick was super scared. The flying fox was 5 storeys high, and fun too. Went for raft building, not that interesting. All of us went down the pool and got ourselves wet. We got ourselves changed and went for lunch, then we went to the high ropes course. I was second to do so, and i was shivering. Stopped halfway as the thunder was approaching. Had certain bonding games and then we ran back to the hotel to bathe and had our dinner. We went for bowling and squash shortly after and then went back hotel to rest. Watched the last few moments of Liverpool against Man. Utd. Liverpool won 4-1? Slept.

Third day, went for trekking. Darrel got 7 mosquito bites and during the trek, i kept losing my footing and sliding down. Luckily i could get my balance back. We had to walked on a bridge without any safety harness that's around maybe 5m high? That was certainly scary. Had packed lunch in the funtion room of the resort and played more team bonding games. Went for cable ski, didn't play the sport but went down the water and swim and play. Walked back to the hotel, washed up and went for dinner. Ms Lim, Mrs Foo, Xun Quan, Darrel, Charleston and I wore red shirts, took a picture together. Had a debrief, went for bowling again. Played till 10.45pm Batam time and ran back to the hotel as we had a curfew, which is to be in the room by 11.00pm. It was our last night stay there but we had no hesitations to sleep. We fell asleep soon after packing.

Fourth and the last day, woke up and rushed like mad. We woke up around 6.30-6.45am and we had to be down by 7.15am. We did our final packing and checking, and said goodbye to our hotel, took a picture together and left the room. We were the last to get down, had breakfast. Went for shopping, bought quite a few stuffs. Went to the jetty terminal and took the jetty home. I'll certainly miss the time we spent at the resort.

Nope, it isn't a bird. It's a plane.

Thanks Charleston for the picture!
